The CherryArts Emerging Artist Program is now in its 23rd year, continuing its legacy of supporting artists at the start of their careers. To date, the program has mentored and elevated 135 artists as they transition into artful careers and grow as professional creatives.
Emerging artists often face barriers to market access, professional networks, and funding, especially those from historically underrepresented communities. For the third year, CherryArts is proud to offer each selected artist an unrestricted $5,000 grant, providing meaningful support for their creative practice and career development.
This year, five emerging artists will participate in the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, gaining hands-on experience and visibility in a premier arts environment. We’re looking forward to sharing more about their work and creative journeys in the coming weeks as we lead up to the 35th Anniversary of the Cherry Creek Arts Festival.
