We have been the recipient of some amazing donations, but this one is a marvel.
Nordstrom Annapolis
1994-2020
"As we mourn the closing of our beloved fashion icon, Nordstrom Annapolis, seize the opportunity to own a forever and lasting memorial by owning a fine work of art, a commission by the artist for the Annapolis location."
Nordstrom, in its continued support of the Annapolis community, donated a work of art previously part of the store's prominent décor, to benefit The Chesapeake Children's Museum.
That work of art will be auctioned off to financially support the museum's ongoing efforts in their nearly 30 years of service to the Annapolis community and their children.
The online auction will begin on July 5th, and end with final bidding on July 28th at The Westin Annapolis Hotel.
Valued at $8700
Bidding begins at $4000

Some berries grow on trees. Mulberries are a fine example. They ripen in June in our area and tend to be red. In other places the berries may be purple or white.
Squirrels, birds, and other animals eat them although they're good for humans, too. Full of anti-oxidants!
Mulberries are best eaten right off the tree, or you can rinse, dry, and freeze them for later!

All Our Children
Better than any argument is to rise at dawn and pick dew-wet red berries in a cup.
