Plant Donations
Thank you, Joanne Pazmino for sharing your passion for plants and animals with CCM.
She is happy to see the museum open again to enjoy with her sons, Marcus, age 3, and Roman, age 6.
The animals in the museum - toads, chameleons, and Madagascar hissing cockroaches, are happy, too, to have new greenery in their habitats.

More Plants!
CCM has been awarded a $1,000 grant from Unity Gardens to add native plants to the park.
Look for the blueberry bushes along the ponds on the West Trail.

30th Anniversary of CCM
Pearls in the Making
|
|
|
The Atlantic Menhaden is a common fish along the eastern seaboard including the Chesapeake Bay. The name comes from an Algonquin word for "fertilizes" because of their traditional use in agriculture. Menhaden are food for striped bass (rockfish), bluefish, and other fish, as well as for predatory birds, including osprey and eagles. They swim in large schools close to the water's surface during the spring, summer, and fall.
