Chez News: October 2023

October 2023

What a busy time of year Chez Nous! We gathered in prayer as a community to celebrate Mass of the Holy Spirit with all students and faculty members in attendance. Preparations are in the works for our National Honor Society Induction Ceremony, our Open House for prospective students, and our Annual Showcase of black arts and culture, "What Is Black?" Congratulations to several of our students who earned national academic recognition (and their teachers). Finally, if you are a Notre Dame alumna, please help us meet the Heckscher Foundation's Matching Grant Challenge by making a new or increased gift to the Notre Dame Annual Fund this year. Thank you!

Mass of the Holy Spirit

The entire Notre Dame community gathered for Mass of the Holy Spirit on Friday, September 22nd. Fr. Kevin Spinale, SJ was our celebrant and offered an inspired homily about the life-giving breath of the Holy Spirit. Sr. Mary Dolan, SU and her student helpers--TLC (The Liturgy Club) worked hard to make the Mass a meaningful and welcoming service for all. ND's Music Director, Ms. Nicole Wakabayashi and the ND Glee Club offered inspiring musical accompaniment. What a joyful day Chez Nous!
