Our Mission: "Multiplying Leaders, Ministries and Healthy Churches"
DISTRICT ASSEMBLY CELEBRATIONS

Thank you to everyone who participated in and prayed for our 2019 District Assembly! Throughout our SDMI Banquet, NMI Convention, NYI Convention, Loved to Serve Missions Projects, Ordination Service and our Business Day, God was glorified. Thank you, Chicago Central District, for your participation in His plan as we continue to multiply leaders, ministries and healthy churches.

The Olivet Nazarene University Theological Leadership Conference  features a keynote speaker and time devoted to special presentations, breakout discussion groups and conversation. This year's event is September 5-7 and features  speaker  N.T. Wright. The theme is Presence and Promise: The Challenge of the Temple.

Early bird registration is $79. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at this link

ORGANIC OUTREACH FOR CHURCHES

Come join other leaders from local churches at the Organic Outreach Training on Thursday, May 30 from 9 - 3 at the Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church. Together, we'll join hearts and minds for a day of inspiration, fun, collaboration and practical insights. Organic Outreach for Churches Training provides direction for congregations to weave the gospel-focused passion and practice into the very DNA of church life. Organic outreach happens when evangelistic vision and action become the domain of every ministry in a church and the commitment of every person in a congregation.

Registration can be completed here. Any Nazarenes wanting to attend can enter the code NAZ for a $20 discount. Contact  info@organicoutreach.org for more information.

EVERYONE CARES CAMP CAMPAIGN

Everyone Cares Camp is a long-standing tradition on the Chicago Central District. This camp exists for campers with special needs to attend a week of camp where everyone cares! They are kicking off a fundraising campaign and are in need of your help!

They are looking to connect with people who would like to support the camp financially. Donations can be made to the camp directly on the camp's website, or items can be purchased off of the camp's Amazon wishlist and donated directly to the camp. We would also love for churches to donate craft or snack supplies. If you are interested, please email camp@eccamp.org

Registration is open for campers and counselors. We would love for you to advertise Everyone Cares Camp at your church. Please visit this link to access a flyer for campers and this link to access a flyer for counselors.

PRAYER REQUESTS AND CELEBRATIONS

We would love to hear any prayer requests or celebrations from our district pastors to include in our weekly communications. Please email us so we can lift each other up!

C ontinued prayers are needed for Bill and Rora Luttrell's daughter, Robyn.  Please pray for the strengthening of Robyn's immune system. Her heart issues have lowered her immunity to many infections, especially during the winter months.

Updated Request from the Marklund Family - Thank you to the District family for your ongoing prayers that baby Sammy will get strong enough in the next few weeks for his heart surgery.
