CSCVB Debuts New Destination Video
One of the best ways for us to help promote the area both regionally and nationally, is by showing visually, what the Chicago Southland has to offer. Our plan is to continue to update and enhance this video each year, as more restaurants/attractions open and when current businesses add to their existing greatness. Fun & Fellowship Featured At CSCVB Holiday Reception/Annual Report
On December 9th, the CSCVB held our first Holiday Reception/Annual Report gathering since COVID and judging by the attendance and smiles on faces, it was a huge success. Thank you to everyone that was able to attend and for those that couldn't, you were certainly missed.

Volunteers Still Needed For
2023 BMW Championship

Select volunteer opportunities are still available to assist in staging the BMW Championship – the penultimate event of the PGA TOUR FedExCup Playoffs – when it returns to Olympia Fields, August 15-20, 2023. Volunteers perform key tasks inside and outside the ropes during tournament week, including welcoming thousands of patrons each day, assisting corporate hospitality guests and selling apparel in the event’s merchandise tent. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and commit to work at least three shifts during tournament week. Shifts range from 4-6 hours in length, depending on assignment.
 
Volunteers are asked to purchase a volunteer uniform package for $175. Valued at $629, the package includes:
 
  • Two Peter Millar golf shirts
  • One Peter Millar outerwear piece
  • One hat or visor
  • One clear BMW Championship branded bag
  • One volunteer credential, valid for entry all week
  • Food and beverage vouchers on days you volunteer

Grant Writing Workshop
The Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau will host a Local Tourism Grant Writing Workshop via Zoom on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. to assist Chicago Southland municipalities and member not-for-profit agencies in applying for local tourism matching grants. The workshop provides information on the grant program and offers detailed explanations of how to complete the grant application and expenditure forms. We ask that you pre-register at;
