Presented by SPACE, the outdoor summer concert series continues in the Temperance parking lot featuring the alternative blues band Houndmouth with Ric Wilson (Sept. 1), indie rockers Car Seat Headrest (CSH) with La Luz (Sept. 2), singer-songwriter powerhouse Neko Case with Courtney Marie Andrews (Sept. 3) and reggae/rap with Steel Pulse and KRS-One (Sept. 4).

New Hotel Breaks Ground in Skokie
A groundbreaking ceremony took place last month for the future 143-room Skokie Homewood Suites and Conference Center. More than 100 people joined Village officials at the event including the hotel developer, the construction team, local merchants, and Skokie residents. The hotel is expected to open at the end of next year.

The postponed 4th of July 3-D fireworks show has been rescheduled! Bring your friends and family members (along with blankets, chairs, and a picnic dinner) to Niles West High School! The evening begins at 6:30 pm with DJ music leading up to the fireworks. The 3-D fireworks show begin at 8 pm.
