Chicora District

April 2025 Roundtable Recap

A note from the District Commissioner

April provided another excellent Roundtable Event for the Chicora District.

A very special thank you to Mark Zelenka for his presentation of the Adaptive Scouting Committee and the information and resources shared during the presentation. If you have questions or needs related to adaptive Scouting, please don't hesitate to contact the new Adaptive Scouting Chair, James Levy. You can also visit the Indian Waters Council Adaptive Scouting website.

This month featured great information about Service & Gratitude, The Scouting America Brand Center, Cub Scout Annual Planning Conferences, and Engaging Scouts BSA Troop Meetings.

I've included for you more information about our Roundtable Topics, helpful information, and other important links below.

Our next Roundtable event will be on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 7 pm in the PALM Charter School cafeteria. We will be covering topics like Safety at the Gaga Ball pit, Battling Homesickness at summer camp, building a great unit leadership team, summer activities, and developing high-performing youth leaders.

We look forward to you joining us and the fellowship that Roundtable always brings.

Yours in Scouting,

Michelle Malcolm

Please visit my.scouting.org today and click on "my training" to see what is available to help you take the next steps in becoming the most effective leader you can be!
