Chicora District

December 2024 Roundtable Recap

A note from the District Commissioner

Thank you to all the Leaders who joined us for our December Roundtable! A special thank you to those who donated potluck items for everyone to share. We had great attendance with more than 30 people coming together to fellowship and learn.

This month featured great information about Service & Gratitude, The Guide to Safe Scouting, and community visibility, AND we got to celebrate with Jessica Chasse as she received her Wood Badge Beads.

I've included for you more information about our Roundtable Topics, helpful information, and other important links below.

Our next Roundtable event is Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 7 pm in the PALM Charter School cafeteria. I'll be sure to follow up on topics in the upcoming weeks. Roundtable is open to all leaders, volunteers, and parents of the Chicora District. We hope you will join us next month and help us continue to grow our District, fellowship together, share best practices, and seek new ways to best serve our youth.

In closing, I'd like to thank everyone for a wonderful 2024. It has been an honor to serve the units of our District. As we approach the holidays, I want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy, and happy New Year.

Yours in Scouting,

Michelle Malcolm

Please visit my.scouting.org today and click on "my training" to see what is available to help you take the next steps in becoming the most effective leader you can be!
