Chicora District

October 2024 Roundtable Recap

A note from the District Commissioner

Thank you to all the Leaders who joined us for our November Roundtable! A special thank you to those who donated potluck items for everyone to share. We had great attendance with more than 30 people coming together to fellowship and learn.

This month featured great information including CPR Training for unit volunteers, lessons on how to turn parents into volunteers, where to find resources, and succession planning. We also featured a safety moment that provided important guidelines about age-appropriate activities for Scouting.

Please find more information about our Roundtable Topics, helpful information, and other important links below.

Our next Roundtable event is December 5, 2024, at 7 pm in the PALM Charter School cafeteria. Details will follow about topics in the upcoming weeks. Roundtable is open to all leaders, volunteers, and parents of the Chicora District. We hope you will join us next month and help us continue to grow our District, fellowship together, share best practices, and seek new ways to best serve our youth.

Yours in Scouting,

Michelle Malcolm
