This year's Toronto Fringe Festival may have been somewhat overshadowed so far by Pride and Canada Day celebrations, but word of mouth has steadily grown, and some shows are already selling out. Market News from June 2016

TORONTO, July 6, 2016 -- Toronto Real Estate Board President Larry Cerqua announced that Greater Toronto Area REALTORS® reported 12,794 residential transactions through TREB's MLS® System in June 2016. This result was 7.5 per cent higher than the 11,905 sales reported in June 2015. In line with the prevailing trend so far this year, the number of new listings was down by 3.8 per cent.

Considering that she may be studying for eight or more years, our daughter wanted to buy a condo within a reasonable distance (20 min via public transport) from the University of Toronto, preferably with an emphasis on newer properties around Spadina and Front streets.
