GOED has been working to help communities find innovative childcare solutions. With a two-phased grant approach (planning and implementation), we are now ready to focus on the second phase.

IMPLEMENTATION: Provide funding to execute the strategies and plans that are created with the planning grants. Applications are currently open until February 29.

GOED's finance team has been working hard the last few month to earn a new credential behind their name. Offered from Grow America, the intensive economic development finance course focuses on Homes, Jobs, and Communities.

Business Retention & Expansion (BR&E) is a core element of economic development. It is designed to understand a business's needs and evaluate opportunities to assist. BR&E visits can provide tools, resources for businesses, and crucial feedback to the economic development organization.

GOED is actively scheduling and taking part in these important activities.
