Pandemic brings new struggles for moms & children

Child Crisis Early Education Program serves families with children 5 and younger living 100 to 200 percent below the federal poverty level in Phoenix and Mesa. These families struggle on a daily basis but the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced us to temporarily suspend our in-person Early Education services, brought on a new wave of job loss, food insecurity and high anxiety.

6 ways you can make an impact
with your donor-advised fund:
  1. Memorialize, honor or commemorate a loved one or an event.
  2. Avoid capital gains by first transferring appreciated stock to your DAF and then gifting it in minutes.
  3. Teach your loved ones about charity and why you believe in giving back.
  4. Build a sense of community (and make a bigger impact) by forming “giving circles” with other donor-advised fund owners, including friends and family members.
  5. Bundle your charitable gifts (doing so could result in an opportunity to itemize your deductions in the same year).
  6. Leave all or a portion of your DAF account to charity simply by changing your beneficiary designation.
