Imagination Theater provides diverse audiences with original, dynamic, participatory theatrical programming that enhances well-being and creates a more civil, safe society.

Trust Imagination Theater to help your school fulfill Erin's Law and keep your students safe.

Now that you and your students are back from winter break, why not take a moment to make sure you're compliant with Erin's Law for this school year?

Since 2013, all public schools in Illinois have been required to provide annual child sexual abuse prevention education for students in prekindergarten through 12th grade.

Of course, this isn't just about following the law or meeting requirements. Whether you're at a public school or an independent one, as an educator, nothing matters more to you than your students' safety and well-being. You want to make sure your students have accurate, useful information and that if anyone harms them or makes them feel unsafe, they'll know they can turn to you for help.

That's where Imagination Theater comes in. Since 1985, we've been helping Chicagoland students learn concepts such as body autonomy, safe and unsafe touch, and how to get help ... while also helping educators and other caring adults know what to do if a child discloses sexual abuse. Our Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Program (CSAPP) fulfills Erin's Law requirements and helps keep your students safe all in a way that's age-appropriate, memorable, and even fun!

Along with an assembly performance of the interactive play No Secrets, CSAPP includes classroom follow-up; guidance for teachers, other school staff, and parents; and a staffed "safe room" at your school where students can privately ask questions, disclose abuse, and be connected with resources as needed.

Don't leave your students' safety up to chance. To bring CSAPP to your school this semester, contact Cee Scallen, CSAPP coordinator, at (773) 492-1966 x 2 or nosecretsprogram@gmail.com.

Imagination Theater is partially supported through grants from the Illinois Arts Council and the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
