PITTSBURGH PIRATES CANCER SUPPORT GAME

On Friday, September 5, 2025, over 120 of our young warrior friends and their families joined us at PNC Park for this year's Pittsburgh Pirates Cancer Support Game. Every year, this is such a special and memorable experience for Lending Hearts.

Again this year, 10 of our cancer survivors were invited on the field before the start of the game for Kids Take the Field. Each one takes a different position on the field, including manager, and are then relieved of their positions by the respective Pirates players.

Our friend, Adam, was given the great opportunity to throw out the ceremonial opening pitch. What made this even more profound for Adam was just the night before, he and his family learned he is cancer free! To read more about Adam's story, click HERE.

It was incredible to hear all the ball park cheer for Adam and all our Lending Hearts Friends. We are forever grateful to the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pirates Charities for providing Lending Hearts with these very special opportunities.

TROPICAL 5K CLASSIC

The Tropical 5K Classic is a fun Hawaiian-themed obstacle course race held at Allegheny RiverTrail Park, Aspinwall. Participants will be crawling, climbing, bouncing and bending (or just walking) to raise funds for The Stanley M. Marks Blood Cancer Research Fund and Lending Hearts.



Each team is responsible for carrying one pineapple throughout the course without letting it touch the ground. Costumes are often worn and those who participate in the dress-up, compete for the best costume prize! After the race, participants and sponsors are invited to join the party with LIVE music provided by local band MILEPOST 6; plus great food, drinks, awards and tons of fun!

CANTOR FITZGERALD CHARITY DAY 2025

On September 11, 2001, Cantor Fitzgerald lost over 650 employees. Since then, every September 11th, Cantor Fitzgerald honors their memories by hosting the annual Cantor Fitzgerald Charity Day for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund.

On September 11, 2025, they brought in approximately 70 New York based celebrities who came on behalf of their charity of choice.

Our beloved friend and now New York Yankee, David Bednar, was invited and spoke on behalf of Lending Hearts. We are grateful for the continued love, support and friendship David gives to Lending Hearts! It was a memorable day seeing him conduct trades and sharing the mission of Lending Hearts.

The morning started on the trading floor of BGC Group near Wall Street and concluded at Cantor Fitzgerald on Park Avenue.

The salary of all employees earned today and all trades made on this day go directly to the relief fund that will support approximately 150 charities in the US and London.

UNCORK FOR A CAUSE WITH BRYAN REYNOLDS

On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Pittsburgh Pirate, Bryan Reynolds, and his wife, Blair, hosted Uncork for a Cause at Hotel Monaco in Downtown Pittsburgh in support of Lending Hearts.

It was a special night that brought together the Reynolds', Pirates teammates, friends, and special guests to raise funds and awareness for Lending Hearts while enjoying the best in wine and hospitality.

Guests sipped and savored wines from some of Napa and Sonoma's top producers*, including Amici Cellars, Blackbird Vineyards, B True Wines, CAST Wines, Christopher Creek, Ketcham Estate, Perchance, Rio Crest, and more. The Monaco's talented culinary team served an amazing spread of passed and stationed hors d'oeuvres, along with a beer and wine bar. As a thank-you, every guest received a complimentary bottle of Bryan's limited-edition Sonoma Reserve a one-barrel-only wine created just for this event.

We are grateful to Bryan, Blair, the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pirates Charities and everyone who came out to enjoy this beautiful event and support Lending Hearts!
