With a very heavy heart, but a sincere sense of wanting to do what is right for our community, I have made the very difficult decision to close Childish Things for at least the next 2 weeks. We will be closed starting Sunday, March 15
. I feel a deep obligation to keep my employees, my customers and myself healthy, and in light of the advice for everyone to practice social distancing, I am taking this step.
As a Mom and Nana in this community, I know that we all are feeling uneasy these days. Our schools are closed, we’re being told to stay home, stay away from social gatherings, be extra diligent about washing hands and cleaning surfaces. It seems like our world has been turned on end very quickly. My employees are like family to me—we see each other every day, socialize outside of work and genuinely care deeply for each other—so it’s extremely hard for me to tell them that we have to close. This closing affects not only me, but also them and it’s very scary for all of us.
But don’t fear!!
We are still open for online business and I will still be showing live videos of our products. I’m putting together “boredom busters” and “crafty creation” kits and will deliver these to you curbside when they are purchased. We have over 17,000 items in the store and are happy to sell any and all of them via phone (303-442-2703), our email account which is email@example.com or via Facebook messages.
Call us and let us know what you are looking for--we can send you pictures, videos, anything to help you in your decision. We are here for you--virtually and curbside at this time!

If you currently have items on consignment, not to worry! Your consignment expiration date will be extended by any length of time that we are closed. This way you are assured of receiving your full selling time. If you have items waiting to be picked up, call me and we can set up a time for you to come by and I'll run them out to your car! I will be at the store most days--listing items on our website, doing live videos's
