Feb. 9 - Parent Group

Parent Group meets February 9. This is a time to get to know other parents in your church community and receive support and spiritual nourishment! We gather in the library during Sunday School; we get started at 10 after kids are settled in their classes. Childcare is provided in the nursery for children under age 3.

Feb. 23 - 3rd-6th Grade Families in Charge of Hospitality hour

We're reaching out to the families of our 3rd-6th graders to help provide treats for Hospitality Hour on Sunday, February 23rd . If you are able to contribute in one of the following ways, please Suzanna Alvin know (suzanne.alvin@gmail.com):

Set Up, Refresh, Clean Up on Sunday Morn

• Set out treats at approximately 9:15 a.m.
• Refresh treats throughout this time until 11:00 a.m. service begins
• Clean up once 11:00 a.m. worship service begins (table, food, plates, etc.)
• The Coffee Hosts will take care of coffee & tea setup/cleanup

Treat Ideas-5-6 individuals (1 Gluten Free Option if Possible)

• Fruit
• Cookies
• Coffee Cake
• Muffins
• Donut Holes
• Bagels cut into pieces with cream cheese container on side

VBS Registration for Faith Members is Open!

VBS is happening June 23-27 at Faith Lutheran Church in partnership with Lutherdale Bible Camp!

Our 3 and 4 year olds are welcome to join us for our half day programming (M-F, 9-12:30). Our Kindergarteners through 6th graders are invited to join us for our full day program (M-Th, 9-3p; F 9-12:30p). Half day program is $40 per participant while our full day program is $100 per participant (scholarships are available for members).

Here's a link to everything you need to know about VBS. If you're interested in registering and are a member of Faith, click here. Afterwards, you'll receive an email with a link to pay. Once you pay, your spot is confirmed!

Registration for the community will open on March 1.

March 5 - Kid & Family Friendly Drop In Ashes - 5 to 5:30pm

This is a time designed specifically for children accompanied by their parents. There will be a sharing about what Ash Wednesday is about for children at 5pm followed by an open time for receiving of ashes. There will be prayer stations families can do together around the sanctuary at your own pace!

First Communion Classes for 3rd Graders & Up - March 2, March 9, March 16 & March 23

“Welcome to God’s table!” We look forward to saying those words to your child soon. First Communion instruction for students in 3^rd grade and up will take place at Faith on the following dates:

Sunday, March 2 at 9:45am for students and parents

Sunday, March 9 at 9:45am for students and parents

Sunday, March 16 at 9:45am for students

We will meet in the Chapel (across from the Sanctuary). We ask parents to attend the first two communion classes with their student as this allows you to be a part of their First Communion experience and learn and grow in God together.

The date children will receive their First Communion in worship will be Sunday, March 23.

Sunday School Snack Donations Needed

We love having snacks before Sunday School! We're looking for snack donations to help keep our bin full until the end of the Sunday School year. If you are able, please bring an individually wrapped, nut free snack to Deacon Kayla to help!
