Youth Ski Trip

Children & Family Rock Climbing
January 30, 1:00 - 3:00 PM
Springs Climbing Center
All elementary aged children and their families are invited to come rock climbing following worship on Sunday, January 30. Grab a quick bite to eat and then meet us over at Springs Climbing Center! Cost is $13 and renting shoes is optional for an additional $5. CLICK HERE to register for this event.

Children's Chapel & Sunday School
This Sunday
Pre-K - 2nd & 3rd - 5th grade Sunday School will follow the regular schedule this Sunday.
There will be no Children's Chapel or Middle & High School Sunday school this Sunday due to the Youth Ski trip.

High School Youth Council
First Meeting: January 30
6:00 - 8:00 PM
St. Michael's Prayer Room
All high school youth are invited to join our youth leadership team. The members of this group will cultivate valuable leadership skills, and exercise these skills by providing feedback, vision, and energy for our Youth program. 2022 focuses will be organizing a spring youth retreat, discovering and engaging in service opportunities, planning a high school pilgrimage, and engaging in continued learning. We will meet once a month, beginning on January 30. Please CLICK HERE to fill out a youth council application.

Cherub Choir
Children ages 4 through 6th grade
Cherub choir is back for 2022! We will rehearse once a month for 30 minutes following the 10:30 service and will sing at our Easter service. Our rehearsal dates are as follows:
- February 13
- March 13
- April 10, Palm Sunday
- Sing on Easter, April 17
- May 15
Children will meet Amalia in front of the altar following the conclusion of service, take them to the choir room, and bring them back to coffee hour. Children will be masked while indoors.

Youth Mental Health First Aid Training
Saturday, February 5
8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Parents and adults are invited to participate in our Youth Mental Health First Aid Training. This training teaches adults how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth. This 8-hour training gives parents/mentors/adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents (ages 6-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
This is a pay what you can event, $60 covers registration and lunch for one person. Pay at the door with cash or checks payable to “St. Michael’s Episcopal Church.”
