Praying for Children of Hope
Thank you for being a prayer warrior on behalf of our children and staff.
We believe in the power of prayer!

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is
God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
I Thessalonians 5:16 - 18
Week of February 14 - 20

Kevin Kiplang'at
Kitalale Home
18 years old - 9th grade
Loves working with the farm animals and crops

Kevin came to us at 11 years old and had never been in school so he had a late start in education. He’s worked very hard but can struggle with his self-esteem because he is so much older than his classmates. Pray for his confidence to grow. Also, pray for his emotional healing and growth as he processes through his mother's abandonment of his family when he was younger.

Viola Chepchi
Kitalale Home
14 years old - 8th grade
Loves athletics and soccer

Viola has grown socially and emotionally exponentially in the last year. We are very proud of her! She is a dedicated student but still struggles in math and science. Please pray for diligence and understanding in her studies this year.

Elijah Ngige
Kikuyu Home
14 years old - 6th grade
Loves taking care of the animals

During COVID, Elijah has had the chance to learn many new skills relating to caring for farm animals and growing crops. He is a helpful and hardworking boy and we are thankful for him.

Mary Wanjiku
Kikuyu Home
13 years old - 6th grade
Loves helping prepare food

The staff has noted good emotional and spiritual growth in Mary over the last year. Please pray this continues and that the Lord will direct her path as she gets older.
