Week of February 21 - 27

Benson Kemei
Kitalale Home
9 years old - 3rd grade
Loves playing soccer and swinging

Benson has been struggling academically. Please pray that he will make progress this year now that the children are back in school.


Patricia Chebet
Kitalale Home
8 years old - 3rd grade
Loves drawing and playing at the playground

Patricia has been asking many questions about her birth family and wanting to meet her parents. Please pray for wisdom for the staff as they help her navigate this. Also, pray for peace in her heart/mind throughout this process.


Michael Leposo
Kikuyu Home
12 years old - 5th grade
Loves playing soccer and swimming

Michael did a lot of farm work during the time at home for the pandemic. He enjoyed learning new skills. He has also been healthy now for an extended period of time and we are thankful for this. Please pray his good health continues.

Rose Nyokabi
Kikuyu Home
12 years old - 6th grade
Loves helping with the babies at the home and baking

Rose has grown physically and spiritually over the last year and we are so thankful for the maturity we are seeing in her. She is a helpful and hardworking girl that loves the Lord.

Special Requests
  • Very soon we will be starting construction on the new Boys Cottage at the Kitalale home. Please pray for safety for all those working on the project and that things will go smoothly with no roadblocks.
  • Pray for a hedge of protection around our children and staff as they stay safe from the COVID-19 virus. So far there have been no cases in either of our homes.

Please pray for the children in our Kikuyu and Kitalale homes in the following ways:
  • Pray for their spiritual growth and that the seeds planted in their hearts by the Word of God will grow and flourish
  • Pray for good physical health and growth as well as protection from disease/sickness
  • Pray for determination and a strong work ethic in school
  • Pray for healthy emotional growth, increased self confidence and healing from any past traumas

Please pray for the staff in the following ways:
  • Pray for wisdom as they make decisions on behalf of the children and the ministry
  • Pray for physical and spiritual protection for them and their families
  • Pray for a strong connection of love and care between the Kenyan staff and the children
