Solphine Yego
Kitalale Home
15 years old - 9th Grade
Loves playing soccer

Solphine is maturing into a wonderful young lady with a fun sense of humor, strong work ethic, and a deep love for the Lord. We are so thankful for her and look forward to the plans that God has for her in the future.

Moses Moit Kimtai
Kitalale Home
13 years old - 7th Grade
Loves running, track and helping around the home

Moses is a helpful, hardworking boy at the home that loves life and enjoys being part of the family. Please join us in praying that Moses will transfer this attitude of hard work to his studies and make academic progress in the upcoming term.


Amos Oliech
Kitalale Home
12 years old - 4th Grade
Loves to sing, dance and play soccer

Amos is an excellent student and works very hard at his studies. Please pray for him as the children are going back to school after a long break from COVID-19.

Daniel Njenga
Kikuyu Home
14 years old
Loves playing basketball and helping at the farm

Daniel has showed much growth recently in his social abilities, which are challenging for him at times as a special-needs child. We praise God for the growth and maturity we are seeing in him!

Please pray for the children in our Kikuyu and Kitalale homes in the following ways:
  • Pray for their spiritual growth and that the seeds planted in their hearts by the Word of God will grow and flourish
  • Pray for good physical health and growth as well as protection from disease/sickness
  • Pray for determination and a strong work ethic in school
  • Pray for healthy emotional growth, increased self confidence and healing from any past traumas

Please pray for the staff in the following ways:
  • Pray for wisdom as they make decisions on behalf of the children and the ministry
  • Pray for physical and spiritual protection for them and their families
  • Pray for a strong connection of love and care between the Kenyan staff and the children

Special Requests

  • Praise the Lord for a successful LIVE event on Nov.21! The children worked very hard preparing for the event and the technical crew did an excellent job so people around the globe were able to enjoy entertainment from both of our homes. It was a special and memorable day for the Children of Hope family. You can view the recording of the live event from our Facebook page or YouTube channel.
  • Pray for a hedge of protection around our children and staff as they stay safe from the COVID-19 virus.
  • Please pray for our staff as they are making extra effort to be creative, engaging and encouraging with the children during this unique time.
