Children’s Ministry Families,
We loved being back together this past Sunday after Spring Break! It was such a great morning reconnecting with your kids and jumping back into all the fun and learning that happens each week in Children’s Ministry.
We are continuing our April theme, Block Party- Celebrating Jesus and joy that never ends! This theme is all about remembering that because of Jesus, we always have a reason to celebrate—no matter what’s going on in our lives.
This week, both our preschool and elementary kids will be diving into the story of the Great Commission and Ascension (Matthew 28:16–20; Acts 1:1–11). They’ll learn how Jesus gave His followers an important mission, to go and share His love with the world, and how He promised to always be with us. It’s an exciting reminder that we are part of that mission too!
As you go throughout your week, here are a couple of ways to continue the conversation at home:
- What did Jesus ask His followers to do before He went to heaven?
- How can we share Jesus’ love with others this week?
