Winn Stephens Hospitality Room

CAC of the Bluegrass Board Member Guy Bradley made a surprise gift in honor of our Executive Director, Winn Stephens, and his many years of service to the Center. The gift, from Guy and his late wife Harriet, will go to support our organization as we seek to provide comfort and hospitality to every child and family who comes to our Center. The welcome area at our office will now be known as the "Winn Stephens Hospitality Room".

One of our goals as an organization this year is to be more intentional with how we help children feel special and cared for when they walk through our doors. We have some exciting new plans on the way for our "Winn Stephens Hospitality Room" that we can't wait to share with you.

We thank Guy for his generous gift in honor of Winn’s contribution to the Center, and for Guy and Harriet’s longtime support of the children and families we serve.

Join Us on April 24th!

Each April, CAC of the Bluegrass honors Child Abuse Prevention Month by hosting our "Pinwheels for Prevention" pinwheel planting, sponsored by Republic Bank.

The pinwheel is the national symbol of child abuse prevention, as it connotes playfulness, joy, and the types of happy, healthy childhoods all children deserve.

We hope you will join us and over 100 community leaders, supporters, and partners as we plant 1,200 pinwheels in the Center's lawn to represent the 1,200 children and families that will receive services at CAC of the Bluegrass in 2026. More details coming soon!

January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month

Human trafficking is the use of force, fraud, or coercion in order to exploit someone for labor and/or sex. We all have a role to play in preventing human trafficking. By staying vigilant and speaking up when we see something suspicious, we can make a difference.

If you or someone you know is in need of help, reach out to the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888.
