The Center's annual "Pinwheels for Prevention" Pinwheel Planting, in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, is just a little over one month away! Mark your calendars for April 25th at 10:00 AM here at our Center. Joining with our partner agencies and local community and business leaders, we will plant 1,100 pinwheels to represent the 1,100+ children we will serve in 2024. Coffee and donuts will be provided, and the Center will be open for tours following the planting.
You also have the opportunity to secure your name on a pinwheel in our "Virtual Pinwheel Garden" by donating to support children and families during Child Abuse Prevention Month. Together, we can end the scourge of child sexual abuse in our communities, and put children on the path to hope and healing!
The pinwheel is the national symbol for child abuse prevention, as the pinwheel connotes playfulness, joy, and childhood, and is a physical representation of the great childhoods we want for all children in the communities we serve.
