CAC of the Bluegrass Videos!

Ever wondered to yourself, "What exactly is it that the folks at the Children's Advocacy Center do?" Well, you're in luck! The Center recently produced a series of videos to better educate the community on the healing services we provide. Four of the five videos provide an in-depth look at our four core services: forensic interviewing, child and family advocacy, medical examinations, and therapy and counseling. It is our hope that with these videos, children and families will feel better prepared for Center services prior to their appointment.

New Partnership with Junkluggers & Remix Market!


We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Junkluggers of Kentucky and Remix Market. Their team is dedicated to supporting good work in the community, and as their non-profit charity of choice CAC of the Bluegrass will receive a portion of all sales from their Remix Market at 1158 Industry Road in Lexington. Be a Hero: Spot the Signs of Abuse!

Did you know that in the state of Kentucky, we are ALL mandatory reporters? That means it is everyone's responsibility to keep children safe by learning the signs of abuse, and making the report! Check out some of the potential signs below, and visit our resources page (linked here) to learn more.

Good Giving Challenge 2024

It's that time of year again! CAC of the Bluegrass will be joining with nonprofits across Central Kentucky in this year's Good Giving Challenge, sponsored by the Blue Grass Community Foundation and Smiley Pete Publishing. You'll have the opportunity to support the life-changing work provided at our Center between December 3rd and December 6th. This year, all the money raised through the Good Giving Challenge will go to support our emergency resource room, Kristin's Closet. We keep Kristin's Closet stocked with new clothes, socks, underwear, shoes, coats, essential toiletry items, and food packages to provide for immediate needs for kids and families who come to the Center in crisis.
