Abby has been on the CACBG team for nearly three years. Since she was a child, she knew she wanted to work in a place that helped children and families. In particular, Abby loves having the opportunity to work with our Spanish speaking families. She is able to provide a listening ear, words of encouragement, and the resources that CACBG offers.
Abby takes inspiration from Kristin Jenkins, long time Program Director to whom Kristin's Closet is dedicated, and a quote Kristin kept in her office: “A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove... but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.” -- Forest E. In her free time, Abby likes spending time with her family and her boyfriend, and traveling to concerts. Her absolute favorite place in the world is Mexico. "I love the culture, food, and beautiful destinations Mexico has. I also get to visit my family there, which makes it even more special," Abby said.
