We are thrilled to welcome Leigh Koetsch to the CAC of the Bluegrass team as our Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator!

Leigh has over 15 years of experience working in interpersonal violence response and prevention, having previously worked at the Sexual Violence Resource Center of the Bluegrass and the University of Kentucky Police Department in the Special Victims Unit as a Victims Advocate. As the MDT Coordinator at CAC of the Bluegrass, Leigh will be overseeing regular Multidisciplinary Team meetings across our service region, and will work to strengthen relationships with our community partners.

When asked why she wanted to join the CAC team, Leigh shared, "I wanted to work for the CAC because my heart is, and has always been, with survivors of trauma. I have heard fantastic things about the staff, leadership, and work culture here, and am grateful to be part of the team and am looking forward to serving CACBG's important mission."

In Leigh's free time, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, reading murder mysteries, cooking, and taking long walks outside.

On November 17th, CAC of the Bluegrass hosted another successful MDT Lunch & Learn, which orients our community partners on the importance of the Multidisciplinary Team in the investigation and treatment of child sexual abuse cases.
