Help Me Grow Update

The Skagit County Help Me Grow Navigator Report for January to September 2024 highlights the demographics and needs of families accessing resources through the Help Me Grow Skagit Family Resource Navigator. This, and other information, helps us learn about the needs of families who reach out the HMG as well as who we are serving and who we are missing. This information helps shape outreach efforts and systems building. Take a look at this snapshot below.

Building Brains!

When you try to understand what your child is telling you and then respond, you’re having a back-and-forth conversation. This is one of the most important ways you can build on and extend their learning. It’s a big step to help them become a lifelong learner.

Try it at mealtime!

Here are some ways to provide comfort and create a sense of security during this difficult time. Learn more about grief supports here: https://unitedgeneral.org/rooted/#resources
