California Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments Celebrates October as

 Children's Environmental Health Month

Kids at park.jpg

October has officially been declared Children’s Environmental Health Month in California and it is shaping up to be a busy month for those of us interested in protecting our children from harmful exposures in our air, water, soil, food and products. Click here for the state resolution.

We hope that you will join us for our short nursing press briefings this month. Schedule and links are posted below.

We are often told that nurses are the most trusted voiced by the public. Now is our time to use our voices on behalf of California’s children demanding clean air and water, healthy food, toxin-free products, and a climate healthy future. They are our future and they deserve it.

Here are some things you can pledge to do immediately as your commitment to Children's Environmental Health.
