Hello Families!
As we come close to celebrating the birth of Christ, we slow our racing hearts, we calm our racing minds, and we gather with those we love. May all your shopping be done and all your lists be checked off, and may you be filled with God’s gracious gift of everlasting love and peace. Safe travels to those going away and warm tidings to those snuggled up at home.
Thank you for a year filled with love and fellowship. You are all in my prayers and held closely in my heart.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Kathy

Here is a reading and prayer for Christmas Day as you light the Christ Candle in the center of your Advent Wreath:
Reading:
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)
Prayer:
“O God of hope, peace, joy, and love. As Mary and Joseph welcomed you into the world, now help us welcome you into our lives. Give us courage to hope; strength to seek peace; fill our spirits with joy and our hearts with love. Through Jesus Christ, the Lord of all. Amen."

Caroling with the Saints at the MARTA Station
Wednesday, December 22 at 5:00 p.m. at the North Ave MARTA Station and Kennedy Courtyard
Deck the halls with boughs on MARTA! Singers of all ages and abilities are invited to attend our annual Caroling with the Saints event!
We'll meet in the courtyard at 5:00 p.m. and then cross the street to serenade the lucky commuters at the North Ave MARTA Station. After we're finished caroling, we'll celebrate the season with cookies and a hot cocoa bar in the courtyard.
Festive Christmas attire is welcome and ugly sweaters are encouraged!
(Please note: We do not have Wednesday Night Supper or Children's Choir Rehearsals on Wednesday, December 22.)
