Children's Ministries Update | February 3, 2023

Hello Families!

We have an exciting Sunday ahead!

Children's Church will be talking about our Saltiness and letting our light shine. We need an adult volunteer as Ms. Kimmell will be getting ready for the Children's Musical at 10:20. You can sign up with the link below.

The Children's Choirs will be presenting The Three Trees musical. This highly anticipated presentation ( we've have been waiting since Covid!) is one of my favorite stories. Make sure that you come straight to Ellis Hall during the Formation hour to see our children tell/sing this story.

If you children haven't asked you "Who told you about Jesus" yet, maybe you can initiate the discussion with them. They were supposed to interview a parent or grandparent or both! We will talk a bit about it this Sunday. See you soon.

Save the Date - Vacation Bible School (VBS) will be June 5-9. Woo-Hoo!

Mark your calendars for these two classes. If you haven't come to this class before, please join us now.

We want to be intentional about sharing our faith with our children and don't always know how. There is a lot of wisdom in this community that helps us figure out ways to do just that. We can come along beside each other with support and empathy and ideas.

Won't you join us and get to know the other All Saints' parents, grandparents and folks interested in living out their baptismal covenant ?We share about kids of all ages and stages!

Core Ministries Progressive Dinner

Wednesday, February 15, 2023 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us on February 15 for our regular Wednesday Night Supper but with a twist! We will have a special Italian dinner to celebrate the love our four core ministries (Midtown Assistance Center, Threads, Covenant Community and Refugee Ministries) give every day to the community. They will be stationed in Ellis Hall, each serving delicious food, where you can pick up your scavenger hunt questions. Between 6 pm and 7 pm, we will begin group tours to each Core ministry location on campus. During this time, you will get your questions answered, and a passport stamped. Then return to Ellis Hall for fabulous desserts and prizes.

If you would like to learn more about our ministries, also stop by our ministry tables between services on Sunday, Feb 12th.

MAC Lent Food Drive

February 26-April 2

The Children's Ministries will be having a competition to see who can bring in the most canned goods for the MAC Lent Food Drive. So look for those BOGO deals as you shop and get a collection bag from church starting on Feb. 26th. Have your child bring their cans in on Sundays and we will weigh them and count them for their class. I will be sending out a Sign Up Genius for kids to pick a Sunday to hand out bags at 9:00 or 11:15 service. At the end of the collection, Club 45 will be carrying over all the collections and organizing them on the shelfs for MAC as their Faith in Action project for April.
