Hello families,
Whew, last Sunday was a doozy!
First of all, thank you all for your gift and your kindness. I feel very lucky to have a job doing what I love to do and to be supported by you wonderful parents.
Secondly, the love shown bright in Ellis Hall! The kids were amazing, the community all together inspiring, and the chance to give Ms. Kimmell some love was heartwarming.
But we are not done! We will have an official party to send Ms. Kimmell off into retirement with gifts and more love and food and fun after the 10:00 service on May 19 (Note: summer schedule begins that day!!)
******* Please get your choir memory sheet to me by May 12********
We will also be welcoming Emily Halbert as our new Dir. of Children and Youth Choirs on May 12th at our church services. So make sure to find her and give her a great big All Saints' welcome.
Make sure to read all the events coming up down below and respond to me if needed.
This Sunday is our Children's Service and very near and dear to my heart. We have been working hard to include our kids in THEIR church as we know this 1) is what we say we will do in the Baptismal Vows, 2) is experience that will reap benefits to stay connected to their faith community as they mature, and 3) they are part of the community of saints - we are not community without all God's people.
So join us as we support these children and their courage and willingness to stand up and lead us all in our faith.
