All the love for Ms. Kimmell and these singers!

Hello families,

Whew, last Sunday was a doozy!

First of all, thank you all for your gift and your kindness. I feel very lucky to have a job doing what I love to do and to be supported by you wonderful parents.

Secondly, the love shown bright in Ellis Hall! The kids were amazing, the community all together inspiring, and the chance to give Ms. Kimmell some love was heartwarming.

But we are not done! We will have an official party to send Ms. Kimmell off into retirement with gifts and more love and food and fun after the 10:00 service on May 19 (Note: summer schedule begins that day!!)

******* Please get your choir memory sheet to me by May 12********

We will also be welcoming Emily Halbert as our new Dir. of Children and Youth Choirs on May 12th at our church services. So make sure to find her and give her a great big All Saints' welcome.

Make sure to read all the events coming up down below and respond to me if needed.

This Sunday is our Children's Service and very near and dear to my heart. We have been working hard to include our kids in THEIR church as we know this 1) is what we say we will do in the Baptismal Vows, 2) is experience that will reap benefits to stay connected to their faith community as they mature, and 3) they are part of the community of saints - we are not community without all God's people.

So join us as we support these children and their courage and willingness to stand up and lead us all in our faith.

I have heard from most of you and you have your parts. If you didn't email me, your child can still join in the Children's Blessing part of the service by coming forward and joining us at the steps. Join us for the most Awesome Week of the Year! Through Compassion Camp: What Every Living Thing Needs, participants will explore what all living things need to live—shelter, food, water, air, and community—and how they can have compassion for the living earth, especially in their local ecosystems. Through awareness, gratitude, wonderment, reciprocity, and kinship, participants will consider how to become co-sustainers and participants in the work of God’s creation. Using Psalm 104 as the grounding text, along with additional supporting scripture, participants will closely examine the interconnectedness of the whole earth—humans alongside the more-than-human world.
