***10:00 Service begins this week****

Hello families,

As we wind down the program year, please remember that we switch to Summer Schedule this Sunday - which means we have an 8:00, 10:00, and 5:00 services each week. Remember that parking may be hard to find this week, but you can always park at the Bank of America off of North Ave.

( just remember to get a voucher from an usher when you walk into church)

Vacation Bible School is going to be a blast! We have lots of teens who will be counselors, and a few great souls that have already volunteered to help. If you can give a day or two or a whole week, let me know by email. It is easy and fun and you will be blessed by all that is going on!

If you haven't registered yet, PLEASE do so asap! We have to get T-shirts and supplies, so need the correct numbers very soon.

You can also invite a friend to come with you! This is a great way to share your love of God with others and to invite someone new into our community. Register below. We have had problems with credit cards so just be prepared to pay on the first day or send me a check now.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call!

I will be heading out on Pilgrimage with the Youth the day after VBS, so if anyone wants to help with cleaning up, getting supplies back down to the second floor, etc. on Friday anytime after 1:00, come on up to the 3rd floor.

Peace,

Kathy

Thanks so much to Anne and Jeff Elzemeyer for running around (at the last minute for me) to get chicken fingers and warm them up for our party last Sunday. Thank you for your gift!

Thanks to all my wonderful teachers (who have all signed back up for another round!). You are amazing, talented, loving, flexible :) , and a blessing to me and the kids and this church.

Join us for the most Awesome Week of the Year! Through Compassion Camp: What Every Living Thing Needs, participants will explore what all living things need to live—shelter, food, water, air, and community—and how they can have compassion for the living earth, especially in their local ecosystems. Through awareness, gratitude, wonderment, reciprocity, and kinship, participants will consider how to become co-sustainers and participants in the work of God’s creation. Using Psalm 104 as the grounding text, along with additional supporting scripture, participants will closely examine the interconnectedness of the whole earth—humans alongside the more-than-human world.
