Children's Ministries Update | September 1, 2022

Hello Families!

We had a great time honoring our Kindergartners and 1st graders with a welcome blessing and a Blessing Bowl. We are glad you are here! We also had our first Children's Church with Eucharist and learned about jobs that kids do to make our service possible. Thank you to our priest, Karen Evans, and verger, John Carter, for being with us.

If you missed the Formation Open House, make sure to download a calendar or pick one up at our Welcome Desk on the 2nd floor of Pritchett.

Join us this Sunday during the formation hour to make 800 sandwiches. We will deliver them to agencies to give to those who are hungry or in need. Bring a friend, compete with the table next to you to see who can make the most, and meet saints of all ages as we serve others together.

Peace to you,

Kathy

From the mouths of babes! Quotes from PK - 7th graders:

Kanuga is the most funnest thing all year!

Kanuga is where you really get to know people and make friends. It is more than a 45 minute class together.

It is my happy place! And my parents are relaxed and chilled out.

I love swimming in the lake for the Polar Bear Swim and doing the Scavenger Hunt.

I love being in a cabin with friends. It is a big ole spin the night party! Or like family camp.
