Dear All Saints' Parents and Families,
Thank you all for your birthday messages and love! I feel truly blessed by this extended family of mine.

Lent is on the way. You will get a video and list of events and resources sent to you via email on Monday. Our theme will be Rise and Mend , mending our lives, our bodies, our earth, our relationships. Start by having your kids think about how they might “mend” in each of these areas and that will give your 40 days of Lent a purpose and a plan of action.

Take a look at the events happening during Lent and mark your calendar to attend as you can, pray together when you can’t attend, and truly set aside time to mark the journey of Jesus to his death and resurrection at Easter.

Children's Church with Eucharist

This Sunday, February 23, we will celebrate the Eucharist with the Rev. Zack Nyein during Children's Church! Meet on the 2nd Floor of Pritchett Children's Center at 8:45 a.m.
Coming Up
Shrove Tuesday: February 25
  • 5:00-7:00 p.m.: Pancake Supper
  • 6:00-6:30 p.m.: Burning of the Palms and Burying of the Alleluias

Enjoy breakfast for dinner during our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper ! We're also excited to welcome children from our Refugee Ministries program to eat with us and make crafts together.

Then, join us in Kennedy Courtyard to burn last year's palms so we can create the ashes for Ash Wednesday. Our Cherub and Primary Choirs will lead us in singing our final Alleluias before Lent begins and we will bury our Alleluias for the season until they rise again on Easter Day.

Mark the start of Lent with our special 5:00 p.m. Ash Wednesday Worship Service for All Ages.

(P.S. We also have services at 7:30 a.m., 12:05 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.)
Pajama Sunday

On Sunday, March 8 , we will spring forward but stay in our pajamas for Children’s Church and Formation – it might make it easier to get to church on time! Wear your PJ’s, robe, slippers and bring a lovey with you. We will have bagels and cream cheese and jelly before 9:00 a.m. when our service starts with a “bedtime story” from the Bible.

Vacation Bible School 2020!

As you start filling out those camp registrations, please save June 8-12 for Vacation Bible School. Registration will open on Thursday, February 27.
Parenting with God Series

Please save the dates for our winter/ spring Parenting with God Series! Join fellow parents and me to share and learn no matter where you are on the parenting journey.

Our discussion will continue to be guided by the book, Bless This Mess by the Rev. Molly Baskette and Ellen O’Donnell, PhD. You might want to order a copy if you don't already have one.

Dates : Sundays, March 8, April 19, May 10, and May 17

It's a new year and we have many volunteer spaces available from January through May. Please take a minute to sign up to help with Little Saints’ and/or Children’s Church! The Little Saints’ service is led by parents (Shawnne will help you!) and Children’s Church is led by me (Kathy) and Karol with parent assistance.

If you haven't already, please register your children for Children's Formation and Children's Choirs for the 2019-2020 program year.
