Children's Church meets December 4, 11, & 18
On Saturday, February 25th, 2023, from 9 AM-4 PM, fifth and sixth graders are invited to participate in Wonderfully Made, Loved by God. It will be held in Youth Hall. This program helps children understand their bodies, the changes they are going through, and how God loves them now and always. It will explain sexual anatomy as well as the different aspects of puberty. Additionally, it will discuss the influence of social media on sexual desire and decision making. In between sessions, we will have games, slime-making, snacks, and lunch from Jimmy Johns. The cost is $30 and covers all materials and food. There will be a parent meeting via Zoom the week before. The exact date and time for the parent meeting will be set in January. Register here.
Fifth graders--it's time for the Annual 5th Grade Retreat Feb 3-4! We're headed to the Aquarium to dive deep into the 3 Simple Rules--do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God. Parents, drop off and pick up at the Aquarium. Drop-off is on the grass lawn in front of the Aquarium at 5:30 p.m. Pick up is outside at the gift shop at 12 noon. Eat dinner before you arrive. We'll have a snack, play some games, and sing songs together before heading inside. A bedtime snack, breakfast, and mid-morning snack is also provided. Cost is $170. You don't have to be a church member to attend, but you do need to register online by December 21st.
