I hope you have enjoyed getting to know our Children's Ministry Team! When you see them--thank them! Each month, they gather to plan and execute fun and meaningful opportunities for your family to gather in fellowship and faith-formation.
Our new regular e-news feature is Parent Cue. Are you looking for a natural way to incorporate faith-formation with your children without adding to an already demanding schedule or feeling like you are coming up short? Parent Cue might be for you! The prompts are there whenever you have time, and are easily plugged into routines that you already have in place. Try the free app today!
Peace & more peace, Elizabeth

Cues for Every Family Rhythm
|
Whatever your family rhythm looks like, see if there’s a way you can look at things you are already doing, and do one simple thing to connect with the heart of your child instead of merely getting through it. In the process, you’ll build habits that will build connection, faith, and character.

Children 3 and under eat free. For older children who don't eat an adult-sized meal, consider reserving 1 meal to share between children. For those who volunteer to serve food during Midweek Dinner, dinner is free!
To select this option, register and check the box to help serve!

Oak Grove is raising awareness and support for the needs of children and families that Wellroot serves—offering more children, young adults, and families the benefits of a healthy, stable, and safe home. Oak Grove has three teams. Two of our teams, Oak Grove Youth and Oak Grove Children are challenging each other to see whose team will have the most members by Saturday, April 30. The third team, Oak Grove Strong, is for everyone else. Our teams will walk/run virtually. For 6-weeks leading up to the event, you will receive a newsletter with information about child welfare & family preservation, devotionals for adults and children, fun challenges, and a walking/running program. To officially join, visit wellroot5k.org and find our team under “Team Leaderboard.” Complete the form, pay a registration fee of $25, and click “Confirm & Sign Me Up”. Register by April 1 to receive your shirt prior to race day.

Our featured book this edition is Who Counts? 100 Sheep, 10 Coins, & 2 Sons written by Amy-Jill Levine and Sandy Eisenberg Sasso
and illustrated by Margaux Meganck.
This story re-tells 3 well-known parables and invites children to consider who matters. Stop by our library & check it out!
Some people said, “What’s so wonderful? It was only one sheep. You had ninety-nine others.” The man smiles. “One sheep makes a difference. Without her, something is missing. Now my flock is complete.”
