God calls us to open the door, make room at the table, and create spaces
to foster lasting relationships with Jesus Christ.
We are so excited to welcome you back inside the building for Worship this Sunday, November 1.
8:30 a.m. - Traditional Worship
9:30 a.m. - Sunday School
10:30 a.m. - Contemporary Worship
We have been working hard on a plan to welcome you back with your safety and comfort in mind, while following the guidelines set forth by the CDC and by the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. Click HERE for more information.
In order to follow these guidelines, we must limit the number of people who can enter the building. To do this, we are asking that you RSVP for Worship and/or Sunday School.
We Welcome Your Children To Worship
Of course, things will look different, but we have been waiting since March for the day that we can open up HUMC
once again! As we plan carefully to ensure that our children’s and nursery ministries are a safe and healthy environment for everyone, we invite all children to join their families during
both 8:30 and 10:30 worship services.
Relax! God put the wiggle in children; don't feel you have to suppress it in God's house. To help keep children quietly occupied, we will have Praise Packs (toddlers & up) & Worship Notes (elementary age) available. If you need to leave the service with your child, feel free to do so, but please come back.
As Jesus said, "Let the children come to me."
