DETAILS:
On Friday, May 1, School No. 15 will hold a car parade for its students and families. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March, many teachers throughout New York State have driven their cars through students’ neighborhoods to wave to children to let them know they are thinking of them. Since School No. 15 is a citywide school, teachers and staff have decided to stand in front of the school, at safe distance, to wave to students and families who wish to drive by.
Families are welcome to drive from Cobbs Hill Park heading east down Hillside Avenue towards Winton Road. All families are asked to stay in their vehicles and not stop at the school.
