Children's Ministries Weekly News
Our Journey
We can all relate to being asked to do something we don't want to do. So it was with Jonah, who was called on by God to preach a new way of living to the people of Ninevah. Jonah was so sure this call wasn't for him that he jumped a ship to sail away from God. He didn't get far and even ended up in the belly of a fish - a time out of sorts. In the end, Jonah was faithful to God's call.

Our preschoolers and elementary kids were reminded that it's hard to do the right thing sometimes, and even when we stumble or try to run away, God is always there, waiting for us with open arms.
