Eighth Sunday after Pentecost
Hello Old Donation!
Another beautiful and hot day outside, reminding us that we are halfway through July (!!!!!!!). I swear, yesterday I said “I can’t believe June is almost over!” and now, summer is half gone. Time is going by way too fast.
Tomorrow morning, our middle school youth will be heading to Jungle Golf, meeting at the church at 10am to take the bus. If you have a rising 6-8th grader in your life who would like to come, let us know NOW!
On Saturday our young families will engage in some potty talk… our Toilet Twinning event begins at 10:30am here at ODEC! We’ll be talking about how God’s love is spread through toilets, doing some fun activities, and trying to raise $80 to “twin” one of our toilets with a new one to be built for a family in a third world country. Pizza lunch provided! So, bring your kids and your piggy bank money, RSVP HERE and get ready for some clean fun.
Sunday the weather looks like it’s going to hold out for us, with rain not projected to start until the afternoon. Sign up for the service of your choice: 8am, 9:30am outdoors, 11:00am in the Historic Church with Live-stream, or 5pm. I’ll be your preacher this week!

Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Middle School Youth: JUNGLE GOLF TOMORROW! Thursday, July 15 at 11:00 at the Oceanfront. Leaving the Church parking lot at 10:15 in our Church bus and other cars as needed. We will play mini-golf and head for ice cream. Bring $5 to defray the ice cream cost.
Toilet Twinning!
Saturday, 17 July 10:30am at ODEC!
Let's talk (and play!) about how toilets can reflect and provide hospitality, God's love, and a hope for the future. Our goal is to raise enough money to sponsor a toilet for a family who needs one.
