God is great. Today we sit between two fabulous weekends for ODEC. Last Sunday was Blessing of the Animals with about 165 of you (and at least 40-50 animals) in worship. Sunday night Youth@ODEC got started again with over 20 kids, great mentors, and a super start. This coming Sunday (Oct 10) we celebrate our annual Parish Feast Day so it is time to celebrate again!
Make your reservation and plan to hang around for a box lunch and drink from Taste. We have ordered a variety of vegetarian, gluten-free, and regular meat sandwiches. While we eat, our guest speaker will be The Rev. Canon James Harlan, new to the Diocese and working for Bishop Susan. Historic Traditions will hold tours of the Church and graveyard. Stewardship is sponsoring the meal and will talk about the messages you will receive leading up to the pledge “In-gathering” on All Saints’ Sunday, November 7. We already have a large turnout reserved. Don’t MISS OUT! (If it rains, our Great Hall is ready with capacity for 250! Everything moves inside easily.
For Youth, Middle School and High School, show up again Sunday night at 5:50 for food, fun, fellowship and formation.
See you soon!!
