Lenten greetings to all

With Palm Sunday and Holy Week fast approaching, and a full schedule of Services on the calendar for this coming week, I encourage you to check out Bell Ringer and this Chimes.

Also note: we will have a short version of Stations of the Cross on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Friday at noon will be the Stations of the Cross you are accustomed to. One other addition will be a brief service (about 30 minutes ) on Holy Saturday at 9:30, using the liturgy found in the Book of Common Prayer. 

With much yet to do in preparation for the celebration of the Holiest night of the Christian calendar, I wish you a continuing Blessed and Holy lent.

We begin our overnight vigil in the Church at the end of the Maundy Thursday service. It starts at 8:00pm ending with Morning Prayer at 7:00am on Good Friday.

Daughters of the King will lead Morning Prayer through Maundy Thursday, 17 April. Join us when you’re able.

TONIGHT! Lenten Wednesday Night Book Study:

6:00 - 8:00pm: supper, followed by a discussion

A Full-Hearted Life: Following Jesus in a Secular Age by the Rt. Rev. Jake Owensby, Bishop of Western Louisiana. 

• 9 April: Sweet Tea and Jesus: a conversation with the author, joining us via Zoom (read the Epilogue)

Discussion will presume we all have read the relevant sections of the book prior to meeting.

Thursday Worship

10:00am Worship with healing, followed by Bible Study in Salisbury.

Ladies Game Night

Distributing Easter Eggs

Bethanny needs volunteers at 8:30am on Easter Day to place our 3,000 Easter Eggs around our grounds in preparation for the Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30am. It won't take long if we have several people help!

Are you a former Chanco camper, staffer, camper-parent, or Cursillista? Join old friends, share memories, and form new bonds at Alumni Weekend May 9-11. Over this weekend, Camp Chanco will host their first-ever 5k race on their new nature trail. Details.

USHERS

Every week we need ushers for the 8:00am and 10:30am worship services. Ushers play an integral part to our worship, help greet newcomers, and "direct traffic" for communion. We need YOU to be involved with this. It's simple to sign up, and we have on-the-job training! We always have a clickable button so you can easily sign up.
