Second Sunday in Lent

Hello, Old Donation!

Things have started out full speed ahead for our interim priest, SuzeAnne+! Her first full day on Ash Wednesday had four worship services, and between those services and this past Sunday, many of you have already had the opportunity to chat with her. We are so pleased to have SuzeAnne's+ in our midst!

Tonight we have Vestry Commission meetings. Join us at 6pm for supper, and 6:30 for an hour to see what you can do in our ministry and mission. Friday Night is Ladies' Game Night in Alfriend House - always a relaxing, fun time for everyone!

Next Wednesday begins our four-week Lenten Book Study - all information is below. Be sure to purchase the book now, and read the prologue and part 1 so you're prepared for the discussion next week.

Check out everything listed below, because there is a lot happening at ODEC. Sunday will be busy with worship services, EYC Kids off on an excursion, and a feeding at Bayside Presbyterian (details below). Don't miss out!

USHERS

Every week we need ushers for the 8:00am and 10:30am worship services. Ushers play an integral part to our worship, help greet newcomers, and "direct traffic" for communion. We need YOU to be involved with this. It's simple to sign up, and we have on-the-job training! We always have a clickable button so you can easily sign up.

Morning Prayer During Lent

Weekdays, 8:00am in the Church

Daughters of the King will lead Morning Prayer through Good Friday, 18 April. Join us when you’re able.

Tonight! Vestry Commission Meetings

6:00pm supper, 6:30pm meetings

If you want to get involved at ODEC, this is a good way to visit some meetings and find out what we do.

*Please note! NO Wednesday night commission meetings in April. Make sure your commission takes this into account for tonight's meeting, or schedule an additional meeting on your own. Check with Gretchen about scheduling.

Thursday Worship

10:00am Worship with healing, followed by Bible Study in Salisbury.

Ladies' Game Night

This Friday, 14 March. We can celebrate an early St. Patrick's Day if we want. We can play Apples to Apples again or if somebody has another game they would like to bring, that would be great. As usual, bring your own refreshments or not, just bring yourself is enough. Door opens at 6-6:30

Join us after all services to bid on amazing child-created art, donated art pieces, and themed baskets! Proceeds go to our Julia Tucker Scholarship Fund, established in 2007 to assist families. Over time, the need for tuition assistance has grown.
