It’s Oyster Roast week! If you have not yet experienced it, it is a wonderful day of food, games, shopping, and fellowship. We have many volunteer slots still open. Most are broken down into 1-2 hour shifts, and there is plenty of space to help starting today to finish prep for the various areas. Oyster Roast raises significant funds for outreach, so come out and lend a hand and have some fun while you’re at it!
Tonight, we have our Wednesday night program with dinner at 6pm and teaching on the Gospel of Mark at 6:30pm.
If you have not yet submitted your pledge for 2024, there is still time! Your pledge can be any amount, and if your circumstances change, it is not a problem to change your pledge mid-year. This process is full of grace, but it helps both you and the church to plan faithfully for the next year. Click here to submit your pledge online, email Father Bob, or bring your card in person!
Advent is almost upon us! Look for more information soon to come about the Christmas Pageant. We have speaking roles for both children and youth, and a plethora of non-speaking roles. We will also have Advent Wreath making and a Communion class on the Sundays of Advent, so look for more information on those as well.
This Sunday we return to our regular schedule. I will preach in the Church at 8:00am and 10:30am, and Bob+ will be in the Gathering at 10:30am and Sundays@5. Sunday School Formation for everyone is at 9:30am.
See you soon!
Peace,
Lissie+
