Last Sunday after Pentecost: Christ the King
Happy Wednesday, Old Donation!
It is BUSY around here! Yesterday we had Outreach Commission members prepping for their feeding ministry in the kitchen, and their laughter and fun filled the place again which was such a joy to hear. It’s also an indication of some steps forward to have more activity within and around these walls. There is A LOT on the horizon, and Bell Ringer will be released shortly so please read carefully—you don’t want to miss anything!
For your more immediate consideration, remember that Pam Campbell’s funeral will be held at 1:00pm this Saturday, with overflow seating in the Great Hall and a simple funeral reception in Tucker Hall to follow. Please join us in celebrating a truly beautiful life and woman.
Tomorrow, we will have our now-usual 10:00am Holy Eucharist and Healing service. Next Thursday is Thanksgiving, and we will again have our Thanksgiving Service at 10:00am. As a special treat, Leia is very excited to “acolyte” with me for that service—some of you may have seen her practicing a bit during Sundays@5 services.
Finally, not to mix holidays, but… it’s time to gear up for our Christmas Pageant! And I need your help. Especially this year, adults and teens are needed to help both during rehearsals and the pageant itself. Please let me know if you’re interested. And, click HERE to sign your children up for the pageant! We welcome kids of all ages this year, as some speaking parts are better for older youth. I need to assign all speaking roles by Dec 8, so please sign up soon!
That is plenty for today, but there’s always more to come so stay tuned.

Ushers? We Need (More) Ushers!
All ages, train on the job. Sign up for a up early for that service. Get some steps in, meet everyone, and tell them where to go! It's fun!

Communicating with the Parish Office
Please be sure to communicate with the Parish Office by email, not by calling the office. God willing, we will have phones again soon!

Ready for Baptism?
Sunday, 9 January is the day for you! It is the First Sunday after the Epiphany: The Baptism of our Lord. Please contact Fr. Bob or Mother Ashley if you'd like to be baptized, or have a child to be baptized. The more, the merrier!

Shop for a Cause
Mark your calendar for Sunday 12 December. You can do some Christmas shopping, and we'll have $1 baskets for kids to shop, too! Click for more info!
Everyone on Middle School and High School are invited to join us - the more the merrier! If you don't attend earlier in the day, join us at Sundays@5 before the youth program begins! Questions? Email Fr. Bob

5:50pm - 6:15pm: HS and MS youth have supper together
6:15pm - 7:15pm: Groups go their separate ways for fun and fellowship.
We are grateful for your faithful support during our Annual Campaign. Thank you to all who have made a pledge or estimate of giving, electronically, in person, or by mail! We are humbled by the turnout at our Kick-Off event on Old Donation Feast Day and at our In-Gathering on All Saints' Sunday. If you have not yet made a pledge for next year, there is still time, and doing so early allows your pledge to be factored into ODEC's planning and budget process currently underway.

We are grateful for your faithful generosity. Your gifts make it possible for God's work to continue.
