Hello Old Donation!
Wednesday has rolled around again, and somehow September is halfway over. Things keep moving along, and we’ve fallen into a pretty good rhythm now around the church. We continue to make adjustments as necessary, and one of those is in our weekday schedule.
Hopefully it won’t come as any surprise to you that we have shifted our Noonday Prayer schedule to be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the week. This is because we are re-starting our “Thursday Morning Service” at 10am with healing prayer. The service will be kept to around 30 minutes in length, and as of now there will be no Bible Study afterwards—that’s for the near future! So if you’re interested, be sure to join us tomorrow morning in the Church at 10:00am. Don't forget your mask!
For Sunday services, please note that our new nursery is open! It is still a work in progress—a number of things I ordered months ago continue to be on back order, and we’ll keep on adding more and better toys and accoutrements as we can. But there are toys and nursery workers, and it is OURS!
And, for those of you with teens in your lives, we have a YOUTH SERVICE Project scheduled for Oct 2 (Saturday). We need 6 or more youth to do a “FAITH WORKS / ODEC” painting project at the home of an elderly woman, with Dan Ries supervising. Let us know if you can join us that morning and afternoon.
Finally, note that October 3 will be St. Francis Sunday. Bring your pets (of all varieties!) to the 9:30 service for all of our entertainment, and of course a special blessing for each of them.
And that is that! Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
