Dear Old Donation,

The hot days of Summer are definitely upon us. The good news is that we have lots of really COOL things happening at ODEC.

Last Sunday the foam and water party arrived and the kids had a blast! Thanks to Bethanny for arranging our fun!

Speaking of kids, plans for the August Asheville Retreat are coming together with a youth and parent meeting scheduled this Sunday right after 10:00am worship. This is an important informational meeting for those whose kids will be going, and for those parents whose kids are thinking about going.

VBS is in need of adult volunteers. Please consider helping, as your presence can help ensure a meaningful experience for our children and our neighboring children as well.

Today is the first Wednesday, so our Vestry Commissions will meet, beginning with supper at 6:00pm. I will lead a brief retreat follow up session during supper.

This Sunday we'll have combined worship in the Church! This will be our last chance before the pews are removed for refinishing, so join us.
