Fifth Sunday after the Epiphany

Weekly Chimes

Hello Old Donation!
What a beautiful Wednesday it is today. Enjoy the outdoors while you have the chance!
Tonight, we take a break from our regularly scheduled programming in order to have our monthly Commission meetings. Please check to see if your Commission is meeting tonight, and if you aren't on a Commission then feel free to come on by and check one out. As you've been hearing in sermons and in our Annual Meeting, there is A LOT of amazing work being done around the parish, and we want everyone to be able to take a part in it! Holy Eucharist begins at 6:00pm, dinner at 6:30pm, and meetings begin at 7:00pm.
Bob and Chris are taking some time away this week, and will join me and your elected parish representatives at our Diocesan Annual Council this Friday and Saturday. Please keep us and the Diocese in your prayers as we gather for a time of enlightenment, discussion, and planning for the future of our church.
This Sunday, Feed My Sheep will head to Norfolk following the 10:30 services, and would welcome your company. See information below on how you can help.
Also on Sunday, you may notice a change at our 10:30 services... it is our
Annual Youth Sunday! Both 10:30am services will be treated to preaching by both Megan Barrio and Parker Purrington, and will be filled with youth holding all leadership roles. It's an excellent Sunday to come to church and see how the Spirit is moving in our teens! I will preach at 8:00am and 5:00pm, the latter of which will also welcome pets for Paws, Prayers & Praise.
We are going strong, my friends! Come, be a part!

Bishop Search

The Diocesan Profile is now live and you can access it from the Diocesan website. Please:

1. Look over the profile and see how much of what we learned from the questionnaire responses and the listening sessions is reflected in it;
2. Please send emails out to people you know who you feel can help to spread the word. Include the diocesan website address in the email so that they have access to the profile. The Nominating/Search committee is sending notices out to as wide a range of places as possible but we hope that you will assist us in "spreading the word".
Thank your your prayers and support for this process.
~Pam Pringle, Chair, Nominating/Search Committee
