Weekly Chimes

Happy Summer days!
The sun (despite the forecasts) has been shining most of the time this week and summer temps are finally here.  The construction work is into a digging and site development phase so there is a little more noise and dust than normal.
Tonight on Kairos & Convo at 7:00pm (FaceBook Live), I will have David Beach with me to talk about the Building project. He can cover what's happening, expectations, and together David and I will attempt to answer any of your questions. You can ask anything you like about anything, but we thought you might like to have David available.
This week in the Noonday prayers and reflection I've been focusing on Paul's Letter to the Romans, chapters 3-5.  This is one of the most fundamental sections in Paul's letters to help us understand the issues of God's grace and our faithful response. The daily readings complement last Sunday's Scripture where Ashley and I dealt with "New Creation" in Christ.  You can find those on YouTube if you missed them.
We finished our ZOOM study on Psalms last Thursday. It was wonderful to have 40-60 of us each week for Bible Study.  The clergy of the three parishes are talking about another series to begin in late July.
We are expecting to hear something soon from the Diocese regarding re-opening for in-person worship. We will have limited capacity but are working on creative ways to make it possible for all of you to worship as you feel safe.  Thanks be to God for the technology and smart users of it who continue to make praise and community available regardless of distances.  Please pay attention to your emails from us!
Know that you are in my daily prayers.  We miss seeing you, but please know our love is steadfast.

Travel Virtually to The Holy Land!
Elisa Moed was one of our travel agents for our Israel Pilgrimage. These are her ZOOM meetings to travel through the Holy Land!
June 28: The Biblical heartland and Modern Realities: "Unwrapping the Annexation Conundrum" The contested biblical region of Judea and Samaria (also known as the "West Bank") that is referred to in the Trump plan comprises a small area of 5,628 square kilometers. Some refer to it as "occupied territories" or "disputed territories" and international community considers Israeli settlements in th is region as illegal under international law , yet the Israeli government disputes this . We will explore the biblical history of this region as well as the modern history of this land and the people who are living in this area and discuss the complexities of a possible annexation.
You must register for these Zoom meetings! Click HERE to register. First time guests are complementary, others are $20 per person.
